Racing his brother Jack Romine in Michigan when they were both in the final and Mike won in 1990 at the AMRA event.
In 1988, he won the Harley Homecoming in Milwaukee on the 85th Anniversary race where there were 40,000 motorcycle enthusiasts. It was AMRA sanctioned at Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove, Wisconsin. That was also where he ran his first seven-second run and won in the final against Jim McClure. |
